Child Advocacy Centers of South Dakota (CACSD) facilitates multidisciplinary training and technical assistance to help establish and strengthen the CAC's in the state of South Dakota.

As we work with communities to establish their own community-based center, we seek to provide the best possible training opportunities to all professionals involved in the investigation, prosecution and treatment of child abuse cases.

In addition, National Children's Alliance offers a wide range of training opportunities, including online and national training programs.  Learn more about the National Children's Alliance organization here.

Stand Up to Child Abuse 5K Run/Walk

April 29, 2017 @ 8:30 am - 10:30 am

The Avera St. Mary’s Hospital Central SD Child Assessment Center is promoting awareness of Child Abuse Prevention through this 5K run/walk. All proceeds benefit child abuse prevention efforts. Families, including children, are welcome to participate.

Fees/Admission:
Pre-registration cost is $20 (must be received by April 15th) Day of event registration is $25 Children 12 and younger participate for free. All paid registrations include a t-shirt.
