REACH Team Prepares for Watertown Open House

On Tuesday, October 3, the Watertown REACH Team will open their clinic doors to its community. The event will occur at the Watertown Sanford Outreach Clinic and will include an address an address from DCI Special Agent Cameron Corey and South Dakota Senator Deb Soholt.

This grand opening comes in celebration of the call to action inspired by Jolene’s Law Task Force and the collaboration and initiative from the Watertown community and statewide partners. The Watertown REACH Team is the first of what will eventually become five multidisciplinary teams across the state, working to provide outreach to unserved/underserved regions. Today, the team is comprised of multidisciplinary professionals from the Watertown Police Department, Department of Social Services, Division of Criminal Investigation, local attorneys and prosecutors as well as a forensic interview and medical doctor from Sioux Falls Child Voice.
